Panasonic has added a CFexpress Type B card slot to its new Panasonic GH6, this was a necessity as some of the modes requires bitrates that even the fastest UHS-II SD cards can't handle. But since GH6 offers so may different video modes, it gets quiet complicate to find out which modes are CFexpress Type B card only.
Inorder to help you decide if you need a CFe card or not, we have prepared a simple table that lists all the modes that can only record to CFexpress Tybe B cards.

As a simple rule, whatever mode that requires 800Mbps or higher is CFe card only.
Note: Panasonic promises to add ProRes recording for DCI 4K and Full HD with a firmware update.
