What is Camera Decision?
Camera Decision started its life in July 2014 as an online decision support system geared towards Photography Enthusiasts who are interested in finding the digital cameras and lenses that best suit their needs and budgets.
We have developed a back-end algorithm to score cameras in different aspects. This algorithm takes manufacturer specifications and DxO mark sensor test results (when available) as parameters in order to come up with scores that are consistent and present a meaningful data to the user.
Camere Decision is still in Beta stage and we are working hard to improve our algorithm, increase the accuracy of the data and develop new sections to better assist your decision process. We need your feedback to make Cameras Decision a more useful tool. You can leave all your comments through our Feedback page.
Who is behind Camera Decision?
We are two co-founders who live in different Hemispheres! (New Zealand and Turkey). We both have Masters degree in Engineering (Mechanical and Industrial), have boring fulltime engineering jobs, and both of us have passion for photography, technology, programming and artificial intelligence.
We are actually surprised to see that Camera Decision is growing so rapidly and the feedback we receive from our visitor are very encouraging so far. This gives us the motivation to put more effort in order to improve our site and make it one of the reference websites for photography lovers.
