New Hasselblad X2D II 100C Camera and XCD 35-100mm f2.8-4 Lens Official Teaser
Hasselblad is turning heads with a fresh teaser on their official page for its upcoming launch: the new X2D II 100C and the XCD 35-100mm f2.8-4 lens, set to be unveiled on August 26th at 14:00 CEST (8:00 AM ET). As the successor to the X2D 100c, the new body packs a 100MP BSI CMOS sensor promising an impressive 15.3 stops of dynamic range. But the real jaw-dropper? A claimed 10 stops of in-body image stabilization. That’s a number we’ve never seen before, until now, the highest I can recall was around 8.5 stops from heavy-hitters like the Canon R5 Mark II , Canon R1, Sony A1 II, and OM System OM-1 II.

Hasselblad XCD 35-100mm F2.8-4 E Main Features
The new XCD 35-100mm F2.8-4 translates to a 28-76mm equivalent in full-frame terms and joins Hasselblad’s E-series lineup. The “E” stands for Exclusive, highlighting the brand’s push for premium optical design and advanced technology. This lens now sits alongside the only other member of the series so far, the Hasselblad 20-35mm F3.2-4.5 E.
