    Launched in September 2022 , Hasselblad X2D 100c is a 101.8MP Pro Mirrorless camera with a Medium format (44 x 33 mm ) sized CMOS sensor, built-in Image Stabilization, weather-sealed body, Tilting touch screen and Hasselblad X lens mount.     Hasselblad X2D has a Hasselblad X lens mount and currently there are 13 native lenses available for this mount.

    X2D 100c also has a Sensor based 5-axis Image Stabilization system which means that all of these lenses will be stabilized when used on X2D 100c. Hasselblad claims that the image stabilization of X2D 100c is effective up to 7.0 stops. Sensor based image stabilization is one of the most useful features that you can have in an ILC.

    Hasselblad X2D Sensor and Photography Features

    Hasselblad X2D has a 101.8MP Medium format (44 x 33 mm ) sized CMOS sensor . You can shoot at maximum resolution of 11656 x 8742 pixels with aspect ratios of 1:1 and 4:3. X2D 100c has a native ISO range of 64 - 25600 and it can save files in RAW format which gives you a wider room for post processing.

    Hasselblad X2D LCD and Viewfinder

    Hasselblad X2D has a Tilting 3.60-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 2,360k dots. Tilting screens are more photography oriented while Fully articulated screens are highly preferred by videographers. The Hasselblad X2D's 3.60" screen is larger than average and its resolution is up to the class standarts.

    LCD is Touch screen type, so you can change the settings and set the focus point with your fingertips.

    X2D 100c has a built-in Electronic viewfinder, making it easier to shoot in direct sunlight and in other situations where it might be difficult to view the LCD monitor. The viewfinder has a resolution of 5,760kdots and coverage of 100%. 100% coverage ensures that what you see in the viewfinder while shooting matches exactly what you will get later in your image, helping accurate framing your shots and minimizes the need for cropping images later. The magnification ratio of the viewfinder is 0.87x (35mm equivalent).

    Hasselblad X2D Connectivity, Storage and Battery

    Hasselblad X2D features built-in wireless (Wi-Fi) connectivity ( 802.11b/a/g/n/ac/ax, Wi-Fi with 2×2 MIMO) which lets you transfer your photos directly to compatible devices without any physical connection. One other feature that we like is the ability to use our smartphone as a remote to control our X2D 100c. You can change camera settings, release shutter, view LCD screen and tranfer files using remote control app.

    You can connect X2D 100c to compatible devices via its HDMI port or USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10 GBit/sec) port.

    Hasselblad X2D also features USB charging capability which let's you charge your camera via a usb cable without removing the battery.

    Hasselblad X2D is powered by a proprietary battery which provides a battery life of 420 shots according to CIPA standards. Considering that the average battery life of Mirrorless type cameras is 389 shots, its battery life is about average in its class but it would still be wise to invest in some spare batteries for long photo trips.

    Max Shutter speed

    Hasselblad X2D can shoot continuously at max speed of 3.3 fps and has max shutter speed of 1/4000 sec. X2D 100c also has an electronic shutter which can shoot silently at max speed of 1/6000s. One thing to keep in mind is that electronic shutter may cause rolling shutter / jello effects, and also banding issues under artificial light on your images.
