Canon RF-S 7.8mm F4 Dual with the Canon EOS R7 Camera
Canon introduced a new budget stereoscopic VR lens that is only compatible with its EOS R7 camera, the Canon RF-S 7.8mm F4 STM Dual. The lens has an MSRP of $449 and expected shipment date of Nov 14th, 2024.
Canon RF-S 7.8mm F4 STM Dual Lens
The RF-S 7.8mm is an autofocus lens and features a 60° field of view, similar to human vision, and captures photos and videos that are compatible with popular VR and AR headsets such as the Apple Vision Pro and Meta Quest 3.

Canon is one of the most active players in the stereoscopic VR lens market, this is the third lens that they released for the RF mount, the other two being the Canon RF-S 3.9mm F3.5 STM Dual Fisheye (APS-C) and the Canon RF 5.2mm f2.8 L Dual Fisheye 3D VR (Full-frame)
