Canon RF-S 7.8mm f4 STM Dual-Optic Lens attached to the EOS R7
The new Canon RF-S 7.8mm f/4 STM Dual-Optic Lens was announced during an Apple event today. The lens is designed for creating spatial video for Apple's Vision Pro headset - an expensive toy that starts at $3,499- and is compatible with Canon's APS-C sensor RF mount cameras such as the EOS R7 that is seen below. We don't know yet if the videos shot with the RF-S 7.8mm is only limited to use for Vision Pro but that would be a waste of resources if that's the case.
