New Canon EOS R50 V
Canon has introduced the EOS R50 V , a new video-focused hybrid mirrorless camera specifically aimed at videographers and vloggers. The camera is scheduled to be available in April 2025, with an MSRP of $649 (body only) and will also be available in a kit with the newly released Canon RF-S 14-30mm f/4-6.3 IS STM PZ PowerZoom lens for $849 .
At this pricing, the EOS R50 V significantly undercuts the segment leader, the Sony ZV-E10 II , which currently sells for $999 body-only (Compare EOS R50 V vs ZV-E10 II ). However, if photography is your primary interest, we recommend sticking with the original EOS R50 , as the R50 V does not include a viewfinder (Compare EOS R50 V vs EOS R50 ).
