In recent years, mirrorless cameras have made significant advancements in video capabilities, putting them in direct competition with dedicated cinema cameras. At the same time, the prices of advanced cinema cameras, like the new Canon EOS C80, have dropped considerably while still offering professional-level video quality and features (Compare EOS C80 vs EOS C70).

Given this shift, I've decided to add cinema cameras to our database. You can now compare cinema cameras within their category, as well as directly with mirrorless cameras, DSLRs, and even compact cameras. Here is a list of the video cameras that I have added so far, including two latest Canon cinema cameras, the EOS C80 and the EOS C400.

I’ll admit that cinema cameras haven’t been my area of expertise, but I’m constantly researching and learning more about them. This should help me improve the quality of reviews and comparisons to the standard our readers expect, very soon.
