Canon RF mount version of the Tamron 18-300mm F3.5-6.3 Di III-A VC VXD Lens
I love my Tamron 18-300mm F3.5-6.3 Di III-A VC VXD (MSRP $699) as my go-to travel zoom, its 27-450 mm full-frame equivalent range covers everything from landscapes and portraits to the occasional bird or wildlife shot. The1:2 max magnification ratio is also great for close-up shots when needed. Until now, it was only available for Sony E and Fujifilm X mounts, but Tamron just announced it’s coming to Nikon Z and Canon RF APS-C cameras.

The optics and most features stay the same across all mounts, with the RF version adding handy AF/MF and VC on/off switches right on the lens barrel. The other difference on the RF mount will be the slight difference in ff equivalent focal range: It is a 27-450mm for Nikon (1.5x crop) but a 29-480mm for Canon, thanks to 1.6x crop ratio of Canon's APS-C sensors.
For Canon RF-mount APS-C shooters, the Sigma 16-300 mm f/3.5–6.7 DC OS C is currently the only Real SuperZoom option
Release date and pricing of the Tamron 18-300mm F3.5-6.3 Di III-A VC VXD RF and Z mount versions will be announced at a later date. The E-mount and X-mount versions of the lens are selling for $699.
Nikon APS-C shooters will be very happy with the Tamron 18-300mm as their only SuperZoom (barely) is the 18-140mm

The 18-300mm F/3.5-6.3 Di III-A VC VXD (Model B061) is an all-in-one zoom lens for APS-C mirrorless cameras. It was the world's first[2] lens to achieve a zoom ratio of 16.6x when it was released in 2021 for Sony E mount and FUJIFILM X mount. And now, it is being released for Nikon Z and CANON RF mounts.

What's more, thanks to its compact design, you can easily take it with you on vacation, backpacking, and hikes. The MOD (Minimum Object Distance) is 5.9” (0.15m) at its wide-angle end, and the maximum magnification ratio is 1:2, making it possible to capture impressive images that bring out the power and detail of the subject. In addition, it is equipped with the high-speed, high-precision linear motor focus mechanism VXD (Voice-coil eXtreme-torque Drive) and TAMRON's original VC (Vibration Compensation) image stabilization mechanism, supporting comfortable and stable shooting.
