Tamron Firmware Update Improves AF Tracking for 18-300mm and 70-300mm Lenses for E-mount
Tamron has released a firmware update for its E-mount full-frame 70-300 F4.5-6.3 Di RXD III and APS-C 18-300mm F3.5-6.3 Di III-A VC VXD lenses, promising significantly enhanced autofocus tracking performance. According to Tamron, the update improves the lenses' ability to maintain focus on moving subjects. The updates also add compatibility with Sony's AF Assist function during video recording, where you can manually adjust the focus even in AF mode.
