Update Aug 28th: Sony FE 85mm F1.4 GM II is officially announced.
A leaked image of the upcoming Sony FE 85mm F1.4 GM II (SEL85F14GM2), the successor to the FE 85mm F1.4 GM short telephoto fast prime lens which was introduced back in 2016 was published by a user on Reddit. Among the excellent Sony GM series of prime lenses, the 85mm was probably the least favored one so it is not surprising to see it being updated first. The official announcement is expected to be held this week.

UPDATE Aug 27: The review video was removed later in the day as expected.
The new lens has an Iris Lock switch, and the new lens hood model reads ALC-SH180 which is also a brand new model.
