Sony today announced the new Sony FE 70-200mm F4 G OSS II alongside the Sony Alpha a6700 today. Dating back to 2013, the Sony FE 70-200mm F4 G OSS was one of the first G lenses released for the Sony E mount and was showing its age. I own the original version and have no major complaints other than the long min focus distance of 1m and hence mediocre max magnification of 0.13x so the Mark II version fixes this with a max magnification of a whopping 0.50x!
