Here’s a quick size comparison of the upcoming Sigma 200mm F2 DG OS Sports for E and L mounts, which is expected to be announced tomorrow. To give some context, we placed it next to three possible Sony E-mount alternatives: the FE 300mm f2.8 GM OSS, FE 50-150mm F2 GM, and FE 70-200mm F2.8 GM OSS II, using our Size Comparison Tool. One thing to keep in mind: the Sigma in this comparison appears with its hood attached, since we haven’t been able to source a photo without the hood yet.

If the rumored price of the Sigma is accurate, it could be considered a reasonable option compared to the Sony alternatives. That said, for my own shooting needs I’d probably still lean toward the Sony FE 50-150mm F2 GM, mainly because of its versatility.
