Laowa 200mm f2 AF FF is available to Pre-Order
Laowa came out of nowhere with a 200mm f/2 AF FF, now up for pre-order at $1,999 for Sony E and Nikon Z L mounts, $1,799 for Canon EF mount (Check Official Store), and on its site with shipping expected in November 2025. That’s a serious undercut of Sigma’s new 200mm F2 DG OS Sports at $3,299.

I’ve been testing the Sigma for a few days and I’m impressed with both image quality and AF speed and accuracy. Early reviews say Laowa’s optics look strong, but AF tracking speed and reliability seem a step behind. If you’re not shooting fast-moving action, the Laowa’s friendlier price tag makes it a pretty tempting pick.
