The Tamron 70-180mm F2.8 Di III VC VXD G2 is the second-generation version of Tamron’s popular fast telephoto zoom for Sony E-mount cameras, and it's a lens we often recommend. It offers nearly the same focal range and optical performance as Sony’s FE 70-200mm F2.8 GM OSS II (MSRP $2999), but at a significantly more affordable price of $1.099 at Amazon currently, which is $200 lower than its MSRP.
