Laowa was rumored to be working on an impressive 200mm F2.0 autofocus lens with full-frame coverage, and it looks like those rumors were true as an image of the lens has just leaked on Weibo. According to the same source, it will be offered in Canon EF, Sony E, and Nikon Z mounts, with Fujifilm X and GFX versions to follow, and weighs in at under 1.6 kg.

The lens in the photo appears to be designed for Canon’s EF mount, with an adapter at the mount end that likely converts EF to the listed mirrorless mounts. Although the RF mount is not mentioned among the available options, users may still be able to adapt it from EF to RF using an EF-to-RF adapter, assuming our guess is correct.
Meanwhile, Sigma is also rumored to launch a 200mm F2.0 lens on August 19, 2025. These are unusual but exciting times for exotic lens enthusiasts!
