Panasonic S9 Full-frame L-mount Camera witht he optional handgrip
Panasonic is reportedly planning to announce a new L-mount full-frame camera, the Panasonic Lumix S9 on May 22nd. Interestingly, an optional Sirui Handgrip for the Panasonic S9 is already available for sale on Amazon. The Amazon listing includes multiple images of the upcoming S9, providing a good preview of its features and design.

The Panasonic S9 lacks a viewfinder, so it doesn't appeal to me as a potential buyer.

Panasonic S9 lacks a built-in handgrip, it doesn't look very comfortable to hold in its default form so an external handgrip is a must for many.
Panasonic GM5
The S9 reminds me of the Panasonic GM5 I owned a few years ago. That camera was a joy to carry around all day, but I sold it because the image quality wasn't up to par with my other cameras.
What do we know about the Panasonic S9
The new S9 is expected to have the same 24MP full-frame sensor as the Panasonic S5 Mark II, with a similar feature set both for video ad stills. It is aimed at content creators, vloggers, and anyone looking for a compact camera to carry with them all day. As we mentioned before, it doesn't have a viewfinder which is a bummer. It will have an MSRP of $1499 in the USA and will be offered in four color versions: Black, Green, Blue, and Red. There also seems to be a dedicated LUT button for the first time on a mirrorless camera, in order to easily select and apply a LUT to the video.
