Panasonic S PRO 16-35mm F4, S PRO 70-200mm F2.8, S 24-105mm F4, and S PRO 70-200mm F4 Lenses Receive Firmware Updates
Panasonic released firmware updates for its S Pro 16-35mm F4, S Pro 70-200 F2.8 O.I.S., S 24-105mm F4 Macro OIS, and S Pro 70-200mm F4 OIS lenses for L-Mount cameras. The S PRO 70-200mm F2.8 and F4 lenses gain compatiilbity with Leica Extender L 2.0x which turns them into 140-400mm F5.6 and F8 lenses respectively. In addition, the S PRO 16-35mm f4 is promised to have improved AF performance while zooming which is compatible with the S5 Mark II, S5 Mark II X and S9 cameras.

Panasonic S Pro 70-200mm F2.8 Firmware Changes and Improvements
Expanded compatibility with Leica L-mount teleconverter
- Leica L-mount teleconverter "Leica Extender L 2.0x" can be used.
* All functions may not be available depending on the situation.
* When updating the lens firmware to the latest version, remove the teleconverter before performing the update.
