The first MFT camera from OM Systems (formerly known as Olympus), the OM System OM-1 is expected to be officially released on February 15th. The specs of the new OM-1 is leaked before the announcement, and although we can't claim the accuracy of this, these leaks often turned out to be right in the past. So using these specs, we have done a 'Virtual' comparison of the OM-1 camera with Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark III and Olympus OM-D E-M1X.
UPDATE February 15th: OM System OM-1 is available to pre-order at Amazon and B&H Photo

Sensor
All three cameras has the same 20MP sensor resolution but the big difference is that the OM-1 is using a new Stacked sensor which is a sign for much faster reasout hence minimal rolling shutter, better high ISO performance and higher continuous shooting speeds.
Body Size and Type
OM-1 size according to the specs is very close to E-M1 Mark III, doesn't have a built-in vertical grip like the the gigantic E-M1X which is a good thing in my opinion. At 599g, it is slightly heavier than the M1 III and almost 400g lighter than the E-M1X.
Olympus E-M1X vs E-M1 III Size Comparison
LCD and Viewfinder:
OM-1 has a higher resolution 1620000dot LCD screen compared to the other two which have 1037000dot screens. All three cameras has fully areticulated screens, handy especially for video shooters.
OM-1 Viewfinder has a magnification ratio of 0.82x (FF 35mm equivalent) which is quite large. The E-M1X's vievfinder at 0.83x is slightly larger, and the E-M1 III has a smaller 0.74x magnification.
Video
This is probably where we will see the big differences. OM-1 can shoot 4K at 60p and FHD at 240fps, thanks to its Stacked sensor where as E-M1X and E-M1 III can only shoot 4K DCI at 24p, 4K UHD at 30p and FHD at 60p max. Although not mentioned in the specs, we believe that the OM-1 won't have the ~29minutes recording limit that the other cameras have. There is a possibility that the OM-1 will be able to record 10-bit 4:2:2 and 12-bit RAW via HDMI video but we will have to wait for a confirmation.
Price
OM-1 is expected to be available in March 2022 with an MSRP price of $1999. Currently the E-M1 Mark III is selling for $1499 and the E-M1X is selling for $1599, a whopping $1400 cheaper than its MSRP of $2999!
We will have to wait until February 15th to confirm if these specs are accurate and hopefully update you with more details.
