Hasselblad X2D II 100C Medium Format Mirrorless Camera
As we mentioned last week, Hasselblad has now made it official – the Hasselblad X2D II 100c Medium Format Camera and the new XCD 35-100mm f2.8-4 E Lens are here. The X2D II 100C steps in to replace the previous X2D 100c, and while the spec sheet highlights some solid upgrades such as the LIDAR AF, 10-stop IBIS, , the real story goes beyond numbers. Hasselblad has worked on things you can’t always see on paper - like autofocus speed and accuracy - and those changes make a noticeable difference when you’re actually out shooting.

Hasselblad XCD 35-100mm f2.8-4 E Lens
The XCD 35-100mm f2.8-4 E is a pretty big deal on its own. It’s only the third zoom lens Hasselblad has ever made for the X system, joining the 35-75mm F3.5-4.5 and the 20-35mm F3.2-4.5 E- and just the second lens in their premium "E" (Exclusive) line, again joining the Hasselblad 20-35mm F3.2-4.5 E. That means it’s designed to deliver Hasselblad’s top-tier optical performance, the kind of glass that serious shooters will want in their kit.

Price and Availability
What might surprise a lot of people is the pricing. Even with all the upgrades, the X2D II 100C actually comes in cheaper than its predecessor - body-only is set at $7, which is an $800 drop from the original X2D 100C. The new XCD 35-100mm f2.8-4 E lands at $4, making it the most affordable zoom in the lineup compared to the other two.
