Mitakon Speedmaster 80mm f1.6 for Fujifilm G and Hasselblad X Mounts
Mitakon released the new Mitakon Speedmaster 80mm f1.6 with medium format sensor coverage for Fujifilm G and Hasselblad X mount cameras. The Speedmaster is a manual focus lens and will sell for $599 for both mounts.

The 80mm in medium format (0.79x crop factor) is equal to ~63mm in full-frame terms which is a bit unusual focal length placed somewhere between standard to short telephoto range. Combined with the F1.6 fast aperture, the Mitakon has the potential to become a very good low-light and portrait lens however you need to work on your manual focusing skills first to have the sharpness at the right place, and we need to see the first tests to see how the 80mm F1.6 copes with 100MP sensor cameras such as the Hasselblad X2D and the Fujifilm GFX 100 II.
