Sigma 300-600mm F4 for Sony E and Leica L Mounts in Stock!
Sigma’s one-of-a-kind super-tele zoom, the 300-600mm f4 DG OS Sports, has been hard to get for ages. I’m not surprised. Sigma previously said they could produce about 100 units per month at the Aizu factory, and demand for a lens like this is off the charts. I wrote my first-impressions review and even designed a custom pinch-style lens cap to make it more practical in the field.

The lens sells for $6,599, which sounds steep at first, but in the world of fast ultra-tele glass it is actually very reasonable. I expect the Sony E version to be the volume mover, but the L-mount has a real advantage here since it supports 1.4x and 2.0x teleconverters, while the E-mount version does not.
