RED Komodo-X 6K Z
Nikon's acquisition of RED is beginning to bear fruit with the release of the RED Komodo-X 6K Z and RED V-RAPTOR [X] 8K VV Z-Mount cinema cameras. While not entirely new models, these are modified versions of their Canon RF mount counterparts, redesigned for compatibility with Nikon's Z mount lenses, such as the new NIKKOR Z 28-135mm f4 PZ.

With the Z-mount's exceptionally short 16mm flange distance, the new camera offers outstanding adaptability, supporting lenses from various mounts—including Sony E mount—via adapters. This versatility makes it one of the most adaptable cinema cameras on the market.

Price and Availability
The Z-mount versions of these cameras are priced identically to their RF-mount counterparts, with the Komodo-X Z-mount at $6,995 and the V-Raptor X Z-mount at $29,995, and are available immediately.
If you already have a RF-mount Komodo or Raptor, RED offers a Z-mount conversion service for $1,595 and $1,695, respectively. RED also annouced all-new Z to PL Adapter Packs, which provide a PL mount solution and added flexibility for V-RAPTOR [X] Z MOUNT and KOMODO-X Z MOUNT camera users.
