Panasonic has introduced two new Micro Four Thirds lenses, the Panasonic Leica DG Vario-Elmarit 35-100mm f2.8 POWER OIS and the Panasonic Leica DG Vario-Elmar 100-400mm F4.0-6.3 II ASPH Power OIS . Both lenses are updated versions of previous models, boasting improved optical designs and features.

Equivalent to 70-200mm in 35mm format.
Third generation with updated optics and Leica certification.
Features constant F2.8 aperture, Dual IS 2 compatibility, Nano Surface coating, and micro-step aperture control for video recording.

Leica DG Vario-Elmar 100-400mm F4.0-6.3 II ASPH. Power O.I.S. Key details:
Supertelephoto lens with added support for Panasonic's 1.4x and 2.0x teleconverters.
With teleconverters, zoom range can extend up to 1600mm-equivalent in full-frame terms.
The lens automatically accommodates the teleconverter's optics when zoomed to specific lengths.
Lens features freezeproof, splash-proof, and dust-proof construction.
Allows full life-size macro photography with a maximum magnification of up to 1.0x with the 2.0x teleconverter.
Includes a new zoom limiter switch and improved focus tracking performance during zoom.

The Leica 35-100mm F2.8 is priced at $1149 and the Leica 100-400mm F4.0-6.3 is priced at $1599. Both lenses are expected to be available by the end of October 2023.
