Canon EOS R5C to be announced on January 19th, 2022
According to rumors, Canon will be introducing the cinema version of its popular EOS R5 camera, the Canon EOS R5C on January 19th. The R5 arguably is already one of the best mirrorless cameras in the market with its 46MP sensor and 8K video capability but was hit hard with the oveheating issues it had during 8K and 4K HQ video recording, and the 30min recording limit was a big let down for some. The new R5C is expected to address this issue and more in order to improve on already a very impressive camera.
What are rumored to be improved on Canon EOS R5c over R5:
Active cooling (expected to increase the external dimensions of the body)
Unlimited recording (No more 30min limit)
Multipurpose hot shoe (as in Canon EOS R3 ) to accomodate new video accessories
Full-size HDMI Port
