Sony is still the only major camera maker using CFexpress Type A cards in its mirrorless bodies, while most others went with CFexpress Type B, which is physically larger but usually faster and more affordable per GB. New Lexar GOLD and SILVER CFexpress 4.0 Type A Cards
The good news is that Type A prices have finally started to come down as more brands entered the game. We already wrote about Sony’s newer, more affordable Tough series cards, and now Lexar has joined the party with its Professional GOLD and SILVER 2TB CFexpress 4.0 Type A cards.
Lexar’s 2TB CFexpress 4.0 Type A cards are priced at $699 for the GOLD and $599 for the SILVER version, and both are already available for preorder.
