Sony Launches 960GB and 1920GB Tough CFexpress Type A Cards and 40 Gbps MRW‑G3 Card Reader
One of the issues I have with Sony’s Alpha and new Cine line cameras is their decision to use CFexpress Type A cards instead of the more widely adopted Type B cards used by most other manufacturers. While Type A cards are smaller and lighter, which helps Sony keep their cameras more compact, Type B cards are generally faster and significantly more affordable for the same capacity.

Sony 960GB CFexpress 4.0 Type A TOUGH Memory Cards
Sony has now released two new cards: the 1920GB CFexpress 4.0 Type A TOUGH and the 960GB CFexpress 4.0 Type A TOUGH. These are among the best in their category, featuring an ultra-durable build and Sony’s well-known reliability, which at least gives users more high-quality options to choose from. Sony's TOUGH series cards are the kind of storage you want with you on a once-in-a-lifetime trip or during a paid wedding shoot situations where losing your photos is simply not an option and minimizing any risk is absolutely essential.
Tough cards can resist Shock, UV Light, and X-Rays, Withstand Temperature Extremes, is IP57 Rated for Dust and Water Resistance, Rigidity Tested to 150 N, and it also comes with a Media File Rescue Recovery Software.
