The control rings of some of the Canon RF lenses makes very loud clicking sound and this is easily audible during video if you use the in-built mic or a mic that is located close to your camera. During my RF 24-70mm F2.8 L IS USM review , I experienced this in first-hand and found it very annoying to be honest.
Canon RF Lens De-Click Service
Canon fortunately offers a service for its RF lenses with controls rings ( and for the Canon Control Ring Mount Adapter EF-EOS R ) where you send your lens to a Canon service location near you and pay $79 ($59 for the adapter) so they remove the control ring's clicking sound. This is not new, the service was started in 2019 and it had been on the news but I wanted to remind once more since I believe there can be some current RF mount users that are not aware of this option.

I hope Canon starts adding a de-click switch to their lenses similar to some Sony FE lenses (ex: Sony FE 24-70mm F2.8 GM II ) offer in their upcoming lenses, or at least give the option to purchase the lens de-clicked from the beginning, and save may users from the hassle of packing and sending the lens, and paying for this service.
