Nikon Z-Mount Standard Zoom Size Showdown
I have to admit, I’m a bit baffled, the new 24-70mm f/2.8 S II is almost the same size as the 28-400mm F4-8 VR (it extends more when zoomed unlike the 24-70mm) , which is literally the wildest full-frame superzoom you can find on any mount. Then there’s the Z 28-135mm f4 PZ, which feels like it belongs in a league of its own size-wise. And finally, the little 24-50mm F4-6.3 stands out as the only truly compact lens in the entire lineup, like the runt of the zoom family, but in a good way!
