Voigtlander APO-LANTHAR 50mm f3.5 VM Type I&II Lenses Released
Cosina released two new lenses, the Voigtlander APO-LANTHAR 50mm f3.5 Type I VM and the Voigtlander APO-LANTHAR 50mm f3.5 Type II VM for Leica M Mount Rangefinder cameras. Type I has the design of classic rangefinder lenses from the middle of the last century, whereas Type II has a more modern but still classic look, according to Voigtlander.

Price and Availability
Both lenses are available for preordering; the Type I is available in black/silver ( 245 g) and matt black (150 g) and sells for $699, and the slightly more expensive Type II is available in a silver version, made of brass and aluminum with a weight of 250 g, and a black version (weight 175 g) which is selling for $749.
