Kodak has been doing well recently with its affordable fixed-lens digital cameras. Earlier we reviewed its compact point-and-shoot cameras which are at the top of many top-selling camera lists, but their superzooms are also doing almost as well in the US. Company's PIXPRO AZ255 (24-600mm 25x), PIXPRO AZ425 (24-1048mm 42x), and PIXPRO AZ528 (24-1248mm 52x) are selling for $149, $189, and $224 respectively, which make them accessible for even the smallest budgets.
Kodak PixPro AZ528 52x Zoom Camera
My favorite among these three is the PixPro AZ528, boasting a 52x zoom and a relatively fast F2.8-F5.6 aperture. Unlike the other two, it also offers WiFi and app control capabilities. All three cameras include optical image stabilization, essential for cameras with such long focal lengths. However, don't expect luxuries like touch screens and electronic viewfinders. The 1/2.3" BSI CMOS sensors they feature aren't particularly impressive, but they help keep the cameras compact and lightweight.
