Sony A7R V Firmware Updade v2.0 adds support for Creators App
Sony released a firmware update for the Sony Alpha A7R V , its 61MP full-frame mirrorless camera. The firmware v2.0 adds support for Sony's new Creators' App which replaces the Imaging Edge app going forward (Beware that after you do this update, you won't be able to use the Imaging Edge app anymore).

Note: The new Creators' App mobile application replaces the Imaging Edge Mobile app. The Creators' App allows you to transfer images from the camera to your smartphone, shoot remotely, and use various other functions.
- Adds a function that improves security when connecting with the Creators' App and Imaging Edge Desktop software for remote shooting and image transfers
Note: Please update the Imaging Edge Desktop software to the latest version (Ver.3.6 or later)
- Adds a function to switch the face that is prioritized for focus with a custom key
- Improves the operational stability of the camera

With this latest update, Creators' App will be compatible with the existing Sony A7R V, Sony A7 IV and the Sony ZV-1F , in addition to the recently introduced Sony ZV-E1 Vlogger camera. Sony will release firmwares for the FX3 and the FX30 cameras in the spring of 2023.
