Sigma BF in silver is an eye-catcher
Sigma BF quietly received a firmware update (v1.02) with a few operational tweaks and minor fixes. You can grab the update from Sigma’s download page. I’m not sure how well the L-mount Sigma BF is selling ($2,199 Body-only) -especially against the more affordable Panasonic S9- (Compare), but I like the concept and I want to see Sigma become a serious player on the camera side. That would create strong synergy with their already excellent lenses, give L-mount a needed boost, and, given Sigma’s track record of keeping lens costs lower than the competition, could help keep camera prices friendlier for users.
