Nikon Z8 Faulty Lens Mount Issue
Nikon Japan released an official announcement about a 'rare' issue some users experience with their Nikon Z8 where the lens cannot be rotated to the locked position and the lens cannot be attached to the body.
Nikon states that they have identified the product number range of the Z8s that may potentially have this problen and regardless of the warranty period, they will repair the affected products free of charge and bear the return shipping fee.You can check in this page if your Z8 is one of the affected units by using the Serial number on your camera, see where you can find this number below:
