Nikon Zf Silver Edition
Nikon just announced a special Silver Edition of its popular Zf mirrorless camera. Same beloved full frame camera, now with a classic chrome style top and bottom plate that leans harder into the film era vibe. The finish echoes those old chrome bodies like the Nikon F, and it shows.
What’s actually new
- A factory silver finish that looks like chrome, not just paint
- Three new Premium Exterior grip options: Cognac Brown with an embossed texture, Teal Blue, and Mauve Pink. Those new colors are also offered on the original black Zf body

Bonus: a new Film Grain feature is coming
Nikon also teased a Film Grain option arriving via firmware this year. You’ll be able to add grain to photos and video, with three grain sizes and six strength levels, and combine it with Imaging Recipes and Picture Controls.

Price and availability
The Nikon Zf Silver Edition is slated for late September. In the US, the body is $2199.95 with the standard leatherette, or $2299.95 if you pick one of the Premium Exterior colors. Preorders are open.
