Nikon NIKKOR Z 800mm f6.3 VR S lens listed at BH Photo
We have previously reported about the upcoming Nikkor Z 800mm f6.3 VR S lens in this post , it was one of the 8 lenses to come in the Nikkor Z Mount lens map. Listing at the B&H Photo site means that the official release is very close.
Nikon has been criticised to be slow at releasing new lenses for its Z mount but recently they have been pushing more professional lenses, first the Nikkor Z 400mm f2.8 TC1.4 , and now the 800mm F6.3 beast! Thanks to the use of a PF (Phase Fresnel) element, the Z 800mm will be relatively compact and lightweight body, increasing its portability. Pro's don't have much left to complain about the native Z mount lenses anymore, really excited to see how this 800mm will perform with the Nikon Z9 .
