Update Aug 28th, 2024: The Tamron 50-400mm F4.5-6.3 Di III VC for the Z-mount is officially announced.
Earlier today I wrote the rumor about the Tamron 50-400mm F4.5-6.3 Di III VC (8x zoom)lens coming for the Z-mount. This lens, if realized, will compete directly with the Nikkor Z 28-400mm F4-8 VR (14.3x zoom), as well as the Nikkor Z 100-400mm F4.5-5.6 VR S (4x zoom) so I thought it would be good to compare the sizes of these lenses with real-life scaled images, followed by a specs and feature comparison.
