Tamron 25-200mm f2.8-5.6 for Sony E mount already has a Product Page
Back in September we shared the tease: Tamron is cooking up a 25-200mm f/2.8-5.6 Di III VXD G2 for Sony E cameras. It’s the heir to the crowd-favorite 28-200mm F2.8-5.6 Di III RXD and, get this, it’s expected to land at the same $799 MSRP. No price creep, just more range and a fresh G2 badge. And the new lens now has a product page at B&H Photo. The catch? Sigma just rolled in with its own headline grabber, the Sigma 20-200mm F3.5-6.3 DG C 10x fullframe zoom for E and L mounts at $999, so this upgrade is stepping straight into a fun little zoom-off.

We don’t have the full specs on Tamron’s 25-200mm yet, and other than the focal range and aperture, we know that it will take 67mm filter thread, and provide half-macro (~0.5x) magnification on the 25mm wide end.
