TTArtisan Releases AF 56mm F1.8 APS-C Lens for Sony E, Fujifilm X and Nikon Z Mounts
Chinese manufacturer TTArtisan has released a new 56mm lens designed for Sony E, Fujifilm X, and Nikon Z mount APS-C cameras. Named the TArtisan AF 56mm F1.8 ., it provides a full-frame equivalent of 84mm on APS-C cameras, a focal range ideal for classic portrait photography. Priced affordably at only $158 , the lens features a basic design without external controls like an aperture ring or AF/MF switch. However, it includes a USB port for future firmware updates and uses a stepper motor to enable autofocusing.
The minimum focusing distance of the lens is 0.50 meters. The maximum magnification ratio is not listed on the official page, but it is expected to be around 0.12x at best.
