Sigma's new 10-18mm F2.8 DC DN Contemporary is going to be in direct competition with the Sony E 10-20mm F4 PZ G and Sony E 10-18mm F4 OSS lenses in E-mount. Both lenses are compact and light weight but the Sigma has 1-stop advantage (F2.8 vs F4) over the Sony models. Now let's see how they compare in size and features:

So as seen on the comparison image, the Sigma 10-18mm is almost same size as the Sony 10-18mm F4 despite being one stop faster (but lacking optical image stabilization) but slightly larger than the 10-20mm F4 PZ G lens.
