Samyang AF 14-24mm F2.8 FE
Samyang has officially announced the AF 14-24mm F2.8 FE, a compact super-wide-angle zoom lens developed in partnership with German optical company Schneider-Kreuznach. First teased at CP+ earlier this year, this is Samyang’s first super-wide zoom and the first collaboration between the two brands.
Samyang is Impressively Compact and accepts 77mm Front Filters
The lens offers a broad 114.2° field of view at 14mm and 84.1° at 24mm, making it ideal for landscapes, architecture, astrophotography, and environmental portraits. Its build includes 15 elements in 11 groups - featuring three aspherical, five high-refractive, and three extra-low dispersion elements - coated with Samyang’s UMC coating for optimal image quality.

Designed for E-mount mirrorless cameras, the lens is lightweight at 445g and compact, with a 77mm front filter thread, a rare feature among ultra-wide zooms. It uses a linear stepping motor for fast, accurate autofocus, includes a USB-C port for firmware updates, and is weather-sealed for durability. Only other lens with 14-24mm F2.8 specs andfor the E-mount is the Sigma 14-24mm F2.8 DG DN Art.
