Z6 III
The Nikon Z6 III is the rumored successor to the Z6 Mark II which shares its spot as the second most affordable full-frame camera in the Z-mount lineup with the Nikon Zf (Compare Zf vs Z6 II ). The cheapest model remains the Nikon Z5 . Earlier, Canon Rumors released specifications of the Mark III and mentioned an expected launch date toward the end of June 2024, slightly later than previously anticipated.
Rumored features for the Z6 III include a new 24.5MP BSI (back-side illuminated) sensor, the capability to shoot 6k resolution at 6048 x 4032 in 12-bit NRAW, 4k60 ProRes RAW video, and an upgraded high-resolution viewfinder.

Please take all the rumors we share here with a grain of salt, and don't base your photography plans solely on this information! As good as its specs sound, I don't see any particular reason not to go with the Nikon Zf instead of waiting for the Z6 III if I need a camera soon, or even check the 46MP Z7 Mark II which is discounted to $1999 currently.
