Just out of curiosity, I put together this scaled comparison of the new Nikkor Z 135mm F1.8 S Plena with the $8,000 Nikkor Z 58mm F0.95 S Noct lenses. Shocking to me, the 58mm Noct weighs more than twice the weight of the 135mm Plena (2000g vs 995 g) even though it is not much larger in size, makes me wonder how Nikon put in sooo much glass inside the Noct!
