New Techart PRO Leica M to Sony E Autofocus Adapter version II LM-EA9
Techart released the 2nd version of its PRO Leica M to Sony E Autofocus Adapter (LM-EA9). Like its first version, it enables the use of M-mount lenses on the E-mount cameras with added autofocusing capabilities. The adapter can be purchased from the official company page for $399.

Thanks to the unique approach that the Techart utilizes, the AF is provided not by rotating the focus ring but by moving the lens mount relative to the sensor plane instead. Version 2 now uses four radially positioned servo motors, which can support heavier lenses. In addition, any lens that can be adapted to the Leica M mount can also be used with this adapter via the use of a secondary adapter.

The company says the adapter is compatible with all the latest Sony mirrorless cameras (A7R5, A7R4, A7R, A1, A9ii, A7C, A6600, ZV-E10, etc) but doesn't provide a full list on their webpage. We can assume any camera that was released later than these cameras such as the A7CR, A7C Mark II, and the A9 Mark III will also be compatible.
