Your 10K Leica M11-P finally has a proper White Balance Adjustment Tool
I don’t own any M11-series bodies , and I never saw this on my former M10-R, but the long-running reports of magenta color shift on the M11 line (M11, M11-P, M11-D, M11 Monochrom) have been hard to miss. Until now, users complained that there wasn’t a good in-camera fix, pushing everyone to clean it up in post. With firmware V2.6.0 (that we wrote about recently) which was released simultaneously with the new M EV1 camera, Leica added a White Balance Adjustment tool to M11 series cameras, and multiple users are saying it finally solves the issue in-camera as intended.
If you want a clear walkthrough, Dave Herring has a solid video that explains both the problem and the fix in detail, so I wanted to share it.
