Leica M11-D is the successor to the M10-D
The recently announced Leica M11-D is not the only current full-frame Screenless digital rangefinder camera with a Leica M mount in the market, it has a competition named Pixii Max, coming from a small French manufacturer. that was founded only back in 2015. The Pixiie Max has a 24Mp full-frame sensor and sells for $4,799 for the 128GB built-in storage version (Pixii doesn't offer a memory card slot) while the Leica M11-D has an MSRP of $9,395 (which happens to have a 256GB built-in storage by the way, as well as an SD card slot), which is almost double the price of the Max.
Both cameras rely on Smartphone Apps to view the photos
Sure, the 60MP sensor of the M11-D offers significantly higher resolution, but many people are living happily with their 24MP sensors, so the Pixiie Max stands as a great alternative to the screenless 'Film Camera-Like' experience with a much lower entry-price, and the best part is, it can still utilize the same excellent M-Mount lens selection as the Leica!
