Laowa 15mm f5 Cookie FF Lens E and Z Mount Version
Venus Optics has introduced the Laowa 15mm f5 Cookie, a compact pancake prime lens with manual focus available for Sony E, Nikon Z, Canon RF, and Leica L mount cameras. Measuring just 25mm in length, the Laowa 15mm is exceptionally lightweight and compact, made possible by its modest f/5 aperture and the absence of an autofocus mechanism. The new lens is available to pre-order for $399.
Laowa 15mm f5 Cookie FF Lens RF and L Mount Version with Aperture Ring
In the Sony E and Nikon Z versions, the lens includes an auto-aperture feature, allowing users to adjust the aperture directly from the camera. Meanwhile, the Leica L and Canon RF versions are equipped with a manual aperture ring, requiring aperture adjustments to be made directly on the lens.
