GoPro HERO12 Black
GoPro announced the latest iteration of its action camera, the GoPro Hero12 Black which replaces the Hero11 Black as the flagship model. There are few improvements over its successor which may or may not be enough reasons to update. The ones that are disappointed the most though are the ones that were expecting to have a larger sensor such as the 1/1.3" one on the DJI Osmo 4 (HERO 12 still has the same 1/1.9" sensor).

- Wireless audio connectivity including narrating and controlling the HERO12 wirelessly

- New vertical video support at up to 4K resolution
- 10-bit GP-LOG encoding
- HDR video
- Tripod mount

In my case, I am happy with my HERO11's dust collecting abilities so not planning to update soon but your mileage may vary!

Price and Availability
The GoPro Hero12 Black will be available starting from September 13th with a retail price of $399.99. The Max Lens Mod 2.0 will retail for $99.99, or $79.99 for GoPro subscribers. GoPro will also sell a Hero12 Black Creators Edition kit for $599.99
