Leica has introduced glossy black paint editions of its M11 digital rangefinder camera and the Noctilux-M 50mm f1.2 ASPH. These designs celebrate Leica’s 70-year legacy of the M-System, emphasizing a timeless aesthetic and craftsmanship. The glossy black paint versions offer unique stylistic enhancements, including a brass top deck and other differences that we listed below.

- Brass top deck with an engraved Leica logo replaces the standard aluminum top.
- Shiny silver shutter release and redesigned control dials.
- Leica’s red dot logo was replaced with a black screw on the front.

Despite the cosmetic updates, the internal specifications of the M11 and the optical features of the Noctilux lens remain unchanged. Both items are available to order and come at a premium price compared to their standard counterparts. The Leica M11 glossy black is priced at $9,195 ($200 more than standard), and the Noctilux-M 50mm f/1.2 ASPH glossy black is at $8,295 ($300 more than standard).
