    Canon T6i LCD and Viewfinder

Canon T6i has a Fully Articulated 3.00-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 1,040k dots. Articulated screens are more video oriented compared to only tilting or fixed screens. On the other hand, photography oriented users generally prefer tilting screens. Both the screen size and the screen resolution is up to the standards of this class.

LCD is Touch screen type, so you can change the settings and set the focus point with your fingertips.

Canon T6i back view and LCD

For those of you who loves shooting selfies, self or group photos, Canon T6i will make your life easier with its Selfie friendly screen. Another group of users who will take advantage of T6i's LCD screen are Vloggers and any video creators who are working in a single-person setup.

T6i has a built-in Optical (pentamirror) viewfinder, making it easier to shoot in direct sunlight and in other situations where it might be difficult to view the LCD monitor. The viewfinder has a coverage of 95% and a magnification ratio of 0.51x. 95% coverage means that what you see in your viewfinder while shooting will slightly be different from the actual image.

With its NFC feature, T6i can communicate with devices such as smartphones which are also equipped with this technology by simply touching each other. One other feature that we like is the ability to use our smartphone as a remote to control our T6i. You can change camera settings, release shutter, view LCD screen and tranfer files using remote control app.

You can connect T6i to compatible devices via its HDMI port or USB 2.0 (480 Mbit/sec) port.

    Canon T6i Battery

Canon T6i is powered by LP-E17 battery which provides a battery life of 440 shots according to CIPA standards. Considering that the average battery life of DSLR type cameras is 944 shots, Canon T6i has a short battery life for its class so we strongly recommend T6i owners to invest in some extra batteries.
